What is an Aura?

In many spiritual and energy healing traditions and practices, an aura is a subtle field of energy that surrounds and interpenetrates the physical body. This luminous field emanates from within and extends beyond the physical body. The auric field contains information about our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual states. Many factors influence our thoughts, emotions, and interactions with others.

Why Cleanse Your Aura?

Just as our physical bodies accumulate dirt and debris, negative energy, stress, and emotional residue can also accumulate in our auric field. Consequently, it becomes congested and imbalanced, leading to increased feelings of lethargy, heaviness, and negativity.   2. Ground yourself by standing barefoot on the earth, sitting comfortably with your feet touching the ground. Visualize roots extending from your feet into the earth. Take a few deep breaths and relax.
  3. Close your eyes, visualize a bright healing light above your head. Observe this light descending down through your body, spiritually cleansing, and purifying your aura as it flows. Visualize the light as a specific color that resonates with you.
  4. Imagine the light flowing into the earth and reaches your feet. Imagine it carrying away any negative or stagnant energy. Imagine the earth absorbing, transmuting, and spiritually cleansing this energy, returning it to its natural state.
  5. Next, use your hands to gently brush your body from head to toe, as if you are sweeping away any remaining energetic debris. Use your hands, a tool like a feather, a smudge stick, or a crystal to assist you.
  6. Recite affirmations that resonate with you: “I release all that no longer serves me,” “I spiritually cleanse, purify, and protect myself,” or “I am surrounded by divine light and love.”
  7. Take a few deep breaths and express gratitude for the cleansing and healing process after your aura is clear and balanced. Visualize a protective shield of light surrounding your aura.
  8. Return to the present moment and open your eyes. You are feeling refreshed, rejuvenated, and spiritually renewed.

You can perform and modify this spiritual cleansing ritual as often as you feel the need to suit your preferences and beliefs. Always approach your practice with an open heart and intention, allowing yourself to connect with your inner wisdom that initiates healing.
